Aive's Dermal Filler Restore
Dermal Fillers
Looking in the mirror it’s easy to see the joy I’ve experienced over the years. The bags under my eyes are heavy, my smile lines are deep, and my hands are starting to show my true age. I know that it’s totally normal to have them, but it doesn’t mean that I don’t miss seeing the natural, youthfulness of years gone by. Truthfully, time is a thief. I’ve spent so much of the last decade chasing after serums, creams, and beauty products only to feel disappointed to see nothing change.
I’ve heard about filler restore work before but never really felt ready for it until now. From cheek pop/lifts, under eye fillers, and liquid face lifts to jawline and hand restoration, smile and marionette lines, cellulite filler, and filler reversals there really isn’t all that much that filler can’t restore to its more youthful state. But if you’re like me, I need to know the ins and outs of things before I just dive in, so sit back and relax as I walk you through AIVE’s Filler Restore services and what you can expect from your appointment and recovery!
What are Dermal Fillers?
According to the FDA, dermal fillers are, “gel-like substances injected under the skin”. They are designed to help achieve a fuller and/or smooth appearance to areas of the skin. Dermal fillers can be placed in the temples, jawline, lips, nose, neck, chin, cheeks, under eye areas, earlobes, hands, and areas where cellulite occur.
AIVE Aesthetics uses both hyaluronic acid (a natural occurring sugar found in the body) fillers and bio-stimulant fillers to assist in achieving a more balanced and natural, youthful look. As an FDA regulated medical device, you can take comfort in knowing that the products used with AIVE are of the highest quality and ratings, with clinical trial backing to help ease any concerns on regulation and safety. The cool thing about dermal fillers is that they restore volume by hydrating the area that is being injected. Additionally, they are 100% a part of the natural makeup of our skin. AIVE also has calcium-based fillers that are derived from the matrix of the bone and are safe to use in their designated areas.

I Have More Questions!
If you’re anything like me, I want to know how long do dermal fillers last? How soon can I REALLY start to see results? Should I do this right before an event or way in advance? Here’s the skinny; Most dermal fillers will last 1-2 years, but you can layer dermal fillers and elongate their duration of action even longer. Results, aside from your neck and cellulite, are immediate. With your neck and cellulite, results are seen after a few sessions. Obviously, the speed at which you see results will be unique to each individual person.
As for timing of getting your dermal filler done, AIVE recommends that you give yourself at least 2-4 weeks before any major event such as a wedding, vacation, reunion, etc. This will allow time to heal from swelling and bruises and helps to make sure that you feel like yourself before the event. Yes, it is important to note that swelling and bruising can occur but will vary from person to person and is extremely common with any injectables. AIVE takes the best measures to prevent or halt bruises as much as possible. So, a realistic rule of thumb when it comes to bruises would be to plan for the worst and AIVE will help you to achieve the best.
